If they have to give the MoM to someone from a non-losing team, they should share it between the bent lino and the bent ref

Some real positives out of that game.

We've showed we can complete with Man Utd, although they are fairly poor (by their standards) and played right into our hands. We still outplayed them for long periods of the game and walking away with 3 points wouldn't have been a surprise.

Most articles and reports on the game have recognised that we were hard done by and probably deserved to win the game.

The players we were all worried about (Masuaku, Ogbonna, Zabaleta in particular) played some of their best football of the season and didn't look out of place in the Prem, like they have done a bit of late.

Bloody Lukaku didn't score.

Now, we just need ALL teams to give us a bit of space and time on the ball, and we'll be sweet.

Seriously pogba got MOM ? Thats just a lazy decision that rubs salt into the gaping wound of a daylight robbery that was inflicted on us yesterday. Pogba looked disinterested most of the game, no wonder they want Rice.

Couldn't watch Live yesterday...Just saw the replay on cell...
Excellent by the team...
Daylight Robbery at OT...yet again

Ridiculous situation awarding 2 pens in same game to same team...
Only to Top teams...obviously...

Agree. Euro super league with empty seats for them. Let the rest of us compete on a more level field.

The dodgy decisions and rich club bias is consistent with the level of money in the game. The refs and Premier league officials are interested in one thing... maximising revenues. The international TV subscriptions is where the growth still is and the rich teams have the money to market themselves far and wide in addition to the fact they win trophies, get more visibility via European cup competitions.

The whole thing is about growing the revenue. The refs get far more pay now, countless numbers of pundits, many TV shows and websites all feeding off the golden goose.

Its becoming a monopoly. Problem is teams like us get the odd win against the rich teams and their vast resources - this is held up as "greatest, most competitive league in the world" and the punters lap it up.

Until TV subscriptions decline or vast empty seats every week, nothing will change.

In a nutshell, we must "know our place" in this contrived hierarchy. Not even having the most fans gives you much if any advantage now which is why I never use the phrase "big clubs". They are the rich clubs. The media never ever use that phrase as it reveals the inconvenient truth and could impinge on the revenue/gravy train they all suck on !

Rant over. Feel better now :-)

And the bland media are part of the problem.. Linekar & Co. So when a lino has a marginal decision he knows it's better to give the benefit of the doubt to the big clubs. He will get a soft ride from shearer, Murphy etc. Cast your mind back to the beginning of the season and morinho getting a couple of marginal decisions against, we get endless replays on Sky and 10 minute debate on MoTD.

VAR isn't ideal, but it should get these basic offside decisions right. For more transparency, mike up the officials like in Rugby.

Finally, England has gone from having the best officials in the world to probably close to the worst. Re-training and a clear out needed.

Kidders, Mad Dog, yes, really pathetic, no comment on how we played or any of our players. Apparently ManU were brave to play attacking open football that give the other team a chance to attack. We had more possession, attemps on goal and corners and most of the highlights were us attacking and then they analyze ManU attacking, crap, I agree not worth watching.

I don't usually bang on about ref's or linesman as it's a terribly difficult job.
But the linesman got it wrong in the Anderson disallowed goal and seemed smug at the result.
Mata fell over and kicked himself, no penalty.
The red bottled it and looked nervous at being caught out for being biased to a top 6 team.
Pogba should of been booked for his kick at Snodgrass's head at the very least.

I’m with you on this one. Did the same and all Danny Murphy analysed was Man U’s attacking intent. Even said that against a better side they would have been punished, rub it in a bit more why don’t ya.

We have been beaten by a joke penalty at Man City
By another and a wrong offside at Man U
And lost 2 points to a 2 yard offside goal v Liverpool (who also scored a couple of offside goals at Anfield against us).

The game is a farce

That game just summed up why I fucking despise the premier league, arse-licking officials who can't wait to give them a penalty (I'm sure Colin at Cardiff would agree), Pogba being given MOTM just because he scored two penalties. I think it's next season the top teams will get a greater share of the TV money. Hope the Top 6 fuck off to a Super league, the sooner, the better. That would leave a much more competitive league, I'd even invite those Scotch wankers to join!

Havent watched MOTD in ages, recorded it to see what they said.

What a load of shit. It was all about how well man u attacked. This is why I never watch it.

I'll stick to goals on sunday

Pleased with how we played, shame about the wrong decisions.
Really thought we were on the beach after the last few games. Nice to see a bit of fight, heart, commitment.
Even Arthur seemed to play well.
Wasn’t an in form Man U though.

Played really well and so much better than against Chelsea.

That said Man Utd are very poor and won't be in the champions league next season.

How Pogba was given man if match was a joke. If game had been 1-1 he wouldn't have got it but seems to have been given because he got two penalties? Rice was world class.

Nice to see the attacking football.

Least said about the decisions the better. Neither were a pen were various reasons and our goal obviously was a goal. Shou,d have been 0-2 in a VAR world but still not convinced VAR wil, benefit anyone other than the big teams.

The snodgrass one was an awful decision and easy to see for a ref standing next to him. Mata lunged into him and bundled him over. In live play was obvious.

We played well yesterday against 14 men and was unlucky and cheated at the Theatre of Muppets.
Quality away support as usual. Gotta keep the football going now for the rest of the season.
